    Purpose

    Provide companywide professional, timely and effective technical support for all mission critical business computer systems. Support and maintain technology equipment and Information Technology assets. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC and server-related hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Provide attentive, timely, and effective support for systems and end users technical needs.
    • Utilize and maintain an internal support ticket tracking system.
    • Perform hands on support for all computer systems, mobile devices, applications, servers, peripherals and other technologies.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software.
    • Install, test and configure work stations, peripheral equipment and software.
    • Help maintain system servers and Microsoft Active Directory, etc. as assigned.
    • Interact with external suppliers.
    • Document processes and procedures related to daily or repetitive duties.
    • Maintain clean and orderly working area
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    Physical Demands:

    • Perform stationary work 75% of the time using a computer and applicable office equipment
    • Move about inside the office and production areas of the building 25% of the time to access computer equipment and communicate with colleagues

    Education/Skills/Experience:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in computer science, computer information systems, cybersecurity, a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Proficient with industry standard LAN/WAN protocols cloud basics, wireless AP's/routers and switches. Exposure to HCI and/or Hypervisor software a plus.
    • Possess a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including conducting training or presentations to teams and internal customers
    • Excellent organizational/time management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Desire to pursue continued education in order to stay abreast of all new IT-related developments in related systems and software.
