    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Job duties:
    Ownership of global consolidation process for multinational public companyOversee the monthly financial close, including timeliness and accuracy of dataDevelop and document process procedures following the implementation of OracleDevelopment, review and approval of US GAAP adjusting entries to international subsidiary balances and transactionsReview and assist in proper cash flow classification for monthly transactionsOwnership of financial statement close process and key SOX controlsEnsure accuracy of foreign currency translation adjustmentsPerform and review analytical procedures to assist in monthly validations and work with local and foreign accounting teams to ensure data accuracyAssist in the completion of store level financial statementsFull control of intercompany elimination process, adjusting entries and problem identification/resolutionReview and recommend mapping assignments for new GL accounts and changes to mapping assignments between ledger systemsAct as a troubleshooting resource and research guide to assist segment controllers in their review and approval of monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysesSupport the company's merger-and-acquisition activity by proactively ensuring integration of target companies' ledger systems and identifying potential roadblocksEnsure effective design of and compliance with internal controls and SOX complianceCoordinate with internal and external auditor teams as needed to support internal and external financial reportingSkillset/Competencies:5+ years hands-on experience with complex consolidation ownership in a multinational public company (Big 4 experience preferred)Certified Public AccountantHigh level of competence in US GAAPStrong Oracle experience preferredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work cross-functionally and maintain working relationships within the finance & accounting organization, including controllership, FP&A, general accounting, treasury, and internal audit#LI-GL1#LI-HYBRID#DBCORP
