Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Driver in Commercial Point, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail mall location as an unarmed Patrol Officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents, assist guests and store teams with directions and concerns, and communicate clearly with property staff. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at a retail and mall location.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols of sales floors, entrances, stockroom corridors, and exterior perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Observe for unusual activity, potential theft indicators, and/or policy violations, and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional verbal engagement.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with store leadership and/or local authorities when appropriate.

Document patrols, incidents, and customer interactions in required reports and logs, and communicate relevant information to the Allied Universal supervisor and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
