- As delegated by the Lead Mechanical Field Engineer, evaluate Contractor's weekly, 3-week, and 90-day work plan schedules; coordinate with IPP Project Controls staff. On a weekly basis discuss with Contractor actual versus planned progress. Review Contractor's weekly/monthly reports and support weekly/monthly Contractor update meetings. - Utilizing Contractor's Work Plan and weekly Work Packages, observe and monitor quality
- Witness installation of Contractor's work, including testing through random inspections.
- While observing Contractor's work progress, note safety concerns and advise craft supervisor.
- Utilize iCoach/iCare model in daily interactions with site personnel.
- Technical two-year degree or equivalent work experience. BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 20+ years professional experience in mechanical construction, maintenance, or operations of power generation facilities. Construction experience preferred.
