- Assist Park Ranger II and Park Superintendent in enforcement of park rules/regulations

- Ability to perform and maintain a safe working environment
- Ability to operate power equipment such as saws, tools, trimmers, chain saws, blowers, lawn equipment
- General Maintenance skills as listed in Job Duties
- Operate within reason a computer, with understanding of Excel and/or park software
- Be able to make deposits and perform basic math when required

- Completion of high school/GED.
- Education may not be substituted for experience.
- Related-experience required: 2 years.
- Experience may be substituted for education.
- Certifications, licenses, professional designations, or other qualifications required for this position include:
- Valid SC Driving license
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification renewed annually
- Blood Bourne Pathogen training renewed annually
- Must be able to obtain Code Enforcement Certification and/ or any other certification
- Biennial training in self-defense, baton and spray tactics
- Other training/certifications as deemed necessary

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
To perform semi-skilled work in the maintenance and repair of park facilities, grounds, vehicles and equipment, and to provide assistance to park guests as required. The position will also, when necessary, patrol the park and enforce rules and regulations for the protection of the park, visitors, and wildlife. The position works according to procedures and decides how or when to do things under supervision; Work is frequently reviewed by supervisor.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Additional duties include:
Maintain trail and campground. Clean bathrooms and bath house. Repair damage from storms and vandalism. Work on projects and construction.
