- B.S degree from an accredited university/college with twelve semester hours of science, including Biology.
- Successful completion of a twelve month AMA accredited Cytotechnology program.
- Successful completion of certification examination
- Ability to accurately perform cytological procedures.
- Knowledge of cytological quality control methods.
- Knowledge of accreditation requirements for cytology.
- Ability to get along with others. Qualifications Experience with processing and screening of GYN & NonGYN ThinPrep Cytology; FNA collection quick preparation and screening; retention of patient samples and documents; quality assurance and control procedures; data entry into information systems; and maintenance of educational requirements.
