    FPGA Engineer

    Looking for 5+ years' experience

    Note:
    US Citizen or GC Holder is Preferred
    Aerospace Industry Experience is required

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the design, test, and integration of complex, high speed FPGAs (mostly Xilinx)
    • Develop architectures compatible with embedded Linux environments.
    • Design and support top-level system simulations.
    • Fully document design details and hold a design review prior to implementation
    • Work in a fast-paced development team, working closely with hardware and software engineers during test and integration
    • Translate system requirements into FPGA architectures.
    • Develop FPGA designs using HDL (VHDL, System Verilog, etc.).
    • Support systems integration and Test Engineering to produce functional designs.
    • Implement and contribute to the architecture of current and next generation multi-megapixel camera systems, interfacing with the Camera Link and SpaceWire standards.
    • Design systems capable of handling Imager data and Image processing (Embedded Camera Development).
    • Create and document test plans to assure integrated performance meets specification.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
    • 5 or more years of experience in design, test, and integration of complex, high speed FPGAs
    • Experience with lab equipment
    • Ability to read, understand, and review schematic drawings
    • Experience with technical documentation
    • Ability to multitask and handle a dynamic work environment
