    This role will be instrumental in managing the financial health of our organization, providing strategic leadership in the areas of cost accounting, financial planning, and budget management.

    The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the medical industry, specifically in areas such as Tissue Bank Costing, medical reimbursement, and cost analysis.

    Responsibilities:
    As the Permanent Director of Cost Accounting, you will be responsible for:


    • Overseeing all cost accounting operations, including Tissue Bank Costing, medical reimbursement, and annual budget processing.
    • Developing and implementing robust cost analysis strategies to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
    • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, including ASC 606, ASC 842, GAAP, and 501(c)(3).
    • Conduct regular bill reviews to identify potential cost savings and efficiencies.
    • Leading pension audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
    • Collaborating with executive leadership to provide strategic financial guidance and insights.
    • Managing the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, ensuring accurate reflection of the company's performance.
    • Participating in the development and implementation of strategic plans and objectives, particularly as they relate to financial management and cost control.

    Qualifications:
    To be successful in this role, you will need:


    • A minimum of 5+ years of management experience in cost accounting, preferably within the medical industry.
    • Proven experience with Tissue Bank Costing, medical reimbursement, annual budget processing, and cost analysis.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and standards, including ASC 606, ASC 842, GAAP, and 501(c)(3).
    • Demonstrated experience with bill reviews and pension audits.
    • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving financial goals.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial information to a variety of audiences.
    • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (master's degree or CPA preferred).
