The University of Illinois at Chicago, Department of Emergency Medicine has an opportunity to join our academic Physician faculty team as a non-tenured Assistant/Associate/Professor in a leadership position as Director of Emergency Medicine Operations.In addition to working clinically in the UI Health Emergency Department, this leadership position will include: monitoring of metrics that assess progress toward the goal and objectives of UI Health. This includes oversight of all activities related to the delivery
- Clinical shifts in the Emergency Department Collaboration with hospital leaders related to regulatory, EMTALA, HIPPA,
Stark and Joint Commission Participation in QA/QI and Risk Management program Educate clinical staff on policies/procedures,
share information assist with new physician orientation Monitor and expedite patient flow Lead monthly faculty meetings
Prepare for participate accreditation certification surveys ED Maintain clinical schedule
