*Contract Duration:* 13 weeks contract with the possibility of extensions

*Pay Rate: * $47/hour - Paid weekly

*Work Schedule: *36hrs/week

*Shift: *12hr night shifts 730p-7a

Inpatient oncology unit. Oncology experience required. Chemo certification not required

• KS RN
• BLS
• Oncology unit experience

Duties

As a Registered Nurse in the Oncology department, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with cancer.

Your primary duties will include:

• Administering chemotherapy treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians
• Monitoring and assessing patients' physical and emotional wellbeing
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educating patients and their families about treatment options, side effects, and selfcare techniques
• Assisting with pain management and symptom control
• Performing procedures such as catheterization and wound care
• Monitoring vital signs and reporting any abnormalities to the healthcare team
• Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining medical records
• Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe environment for patients
