    Job DescriptionThe Biologicals and Chemicals Division (BCD) is a $1.3B business within the BioProduction Group, supporting our BioPharma partners in the manufacturing of life-changing and life-saving biologics (Oncology, Autoimmune, Vaccines, Blood Disorders, Rare Diseases, etc.) through our Gibco Media offerings.

    Seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst III who will provide finance and collaborative partnership to the $200M Customer-Owned Formulations and $100M Viral Production Verticals.

    Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, this role will span multiple aspects of the CC&CT business unit, including, but not limited to, financial support for revenue & margin analytics, business partnership, critical initiatives, and ad hoc projects as required.


    What you will do:
    Collaborate with and support product managers as their primary finance partner; help synthesize and explain performance metrics (e.g. actuals vs. plan/forecast, growth and profitability drivers), lead insight generation, and drive accountability to annual and long-term commitments for a segment of the CC&CT product portfolioSupport weekly revenue forecast process by analyzing revenue, backlog, and pipeline opportunities, while also incorporating business feedback and driving continuous improvementParticipate in the preparation and development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Operating Plan (STRAP)


    Partner with business and functional leaders to generate key assumptions and drivers to enable effective decision-making; collaborate with other finance teams and functions to ensure reporting and forecasting accuracy, standardization, alignment, and best methodology sharing across a matrix organizationIndependently conduct data analysis in large transactional datasets to identify trends, business insights, and data integrity/accuracy; partner with cross-functional teams when anomalies are observed.

    Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to drive dynamic decision making and real-time risk mitigation activities.
    Partner with team members to drive the development, expansion, and adoption of new and existing analytical tools using sophisticated data visualization techniques (Power BI) towards our efforts to evolve from static reporting to valuable business insight generationParticipate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives in high visibility areasPerform ad-hoc reporting and analytics support on an as needed basisPrimary office in Carlsbad, CAHow you will get here:

    EducationBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-related field, or other relevant fieldExperience2+ years of experience in Finance related field.
