    The

    Accounting Supervisor


    position requires a variety of accounting work to be done by applying generally accepted accounting procedures (GAAP and IFRS) in the preparation and maintenance of accounting records; including but not limited to: fixed assets, affiliate liabilities and receivables, ex-pat payroll reconciliations, financial statement preparations, audit and tax support and other financial accounting duties.

    Additionally, this position is responsible for the Accounts Receivable function and has responsibility for direct reports.


    What you will do:
    Responsible for all daily activity as required for areas of responsibilityDrives the monthly/quarterly/year-end closing process.
    Prepares accurate and timely financial statements for review.
    Prepares journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
    Responsible for all intercompany activity and ensures proper invoicingPrepare affiliate invoicing and reconcile receivables with affiliates.
    Compiles required data to complete state/local tax reporting in a timely manner.
    Provides analyses for the year-end audit as deemed necessary by the Finance Manager.

    Performs the necessary tasks for fixed asset accounting and reporting and ensures the data integrity of the SAP Fixed Asset Accounting System, and general ledger, for book and tax amounts.

    Creates and maintains Assets in Progress report. In addition, acts as the primary contact for project leaders.
    Prepares year end information for preparation of deferred taxes and income tax returns.

    Works cooperatively with the planning function for monthly/quarter/yearly reportingSupervises the Accounts Receivable and ensures compliance and integrity of the functionSets and monitors team goals and KPI'sMonitors and provide reports for Accounts Receivable department, such as DSO, Cash In, Sweep reporting, Credit limit reviews, Credit insurance and Business Unit specific reports.

    Reviews Inventory, Obsolete and Shipped not billed.
    Responsible for Employee development of direct report.
    Performs other projects as deemed necessary.


    What you will need:
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with five years accounting experience.
    Knowledge of asset accounting requiredAbility to work productively and focused to meet deadlines.
    Advanced Excel experience required.
    SAP experience required.
    Prior Supervisory experience preferred.
    Must be organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
