    Description

    The Account Manager will be responsible for providing solution-based sales strategies to grow business with new and existing customers. You will have the opportunity to generate new business across all product lines within an assigned geographic territory.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs
    • Collaborate with sales team, including other account managers, coordinators, and sales managers to achieve business goals
    • Plan and manage the assigned territory to maximize potential revenue
    • Build and foster meaningful business relationships
    • Ensure high quality customer satisfaction and retention
    • Incorporate all applicable sales strategies, programs, and other marketing tools (e.g. cold calling, prospecting, networking, and market knowledge)
    • Submit weekly/monthly reports, including call logs for prospects and existing customers
    • Submit timely and accurate forecasting, proposals, order write-ups, and required paperwork
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong sales and customer service skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Must be able to safely operate forklifts and other equipment
    • Must have a valid drivers license
    Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma
    • 2 years of sales experience strongly preferred
    • Prior experience within the material handling industry preferred
    Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds, up to 50 pounds on occasion.
    • Must be able to work safely in areas with potential exposure to cold/hot temperatures, noise pollution, dust, solvents, fuels, and battery acid.
    Compensation:
    • Salary plus commissions
