    Ophthalmic Technician (Allied)


    Requirements:
    Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT)

    or

    COA (required at submission)
    Minimum

    3 years recent Ophthalmic Tech experience
    Manual refractions required
    Adults-only outpatient clinic
    2 Supervisor references required

    Work Setting:
    Very busy outpatient eye clinic
    Clinical IVS screening required
    Local rate applies within 50 miles ($5 less than posted rate)

    Key Responsibilities:
    Patient prep, history & triage
    Visual acuity, intraocular pressure, refractions
    Visual field testing, A-scan, corneal topography
    Fundus photography assistance
    Assist with minor & laser procedures
    Equipment sterilization & maintenance
