    Job Description

    Role: AWS Cloud Developer

    Location: Irving, TX

    Duration: 12 Months Contract


    Project: Cloud technology enhancements

    Emphasis: Cloud development

    Typical Day: work with teams on migration of cloud and coding


    Details of this position: Responsible for designing and developing solutions for applications based on AWS Cloud Platform. Deliver working and tested software solutions using test driven development methodologies to meet release schedules for all products.


    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Development experience on AWS platform using AWS services like
    • Lambda, Kinesis, Mongo DB/Couch Base, Node JS
    • 5+ years of development experience - Cloud development
    • 2+ years of experience in building, deploying and delivering enterprise-grade cloud-native SaaS applications.
    • API development experience using NodeJS, JavaScript on AWS - minimum 3years' experience
    • Solid understanding of Cloud-Native application architectures.
    • Experience using AWS RDS, Dynamo DB, S3
    • Core Dev Skills : NodeJS, JavaScript, SQL and NOSQL experience - must have all.
    • Experience with Test-Driven Development
    • Continuous integration and delivery experience.
    • Strong communication skills - verbal and written
    • Critical thinking
    • Adaptable in fast-paced, Agile environment
    • Ability to effectively keep up
    • Detailed oriented
    • Very collaborative; building team and customer trust
    • Strong mentoring skills; may need to mentor other

    PREFERRED:

    • Full Stack application development experience is a plus
    • Dev Ops experience with Cloud applications is a plus.
    • Experience with Android / iOS mobile application delivery and integration.
    • Experience in retail domain is a plus
