    Job Title: Project Manager

    Location: Syracuse area, New York

    Position Overview:

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects from inception to completion. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
    • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and building codes.
    • Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed of project status and addressing any concerns or issues.
    • Lead project meetings, including kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and closeout meetings.
    • Foster a culture of safety on the job site, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field. Will also consider a combination of years of education in related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing all trades in construction projects.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing projects on time and within budget.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
    • PMP certification (preferred).
    • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in NY.
