    Description

    We are seeking an associate to join the Finance and Accounting Team and assist with various financial reporting and accounting activities of the investment advisor.

    The successful candidate will be self-motivated and energized by working alongside a group of thoughtful, intelligent, and driven colleagues, and a naturally collaborative person who enjoys interacting with individuals at all levels. Additionally, the individual should be a strong team player with a proactive approach and excellent attention to detail.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain and build financial statement models including revenue and expense projections
    • Monitor investment advisors performance versus budget and forecast including office-level expense budgets
    • Provide budget versus actual explanations, as needed
    • Reforecast financial metrics, as needed
    • Assist with preparing Quarterly Business Review materials including presentation slides and supporting schedules
    • Work with others on the F&A team to collect data, understand implications of business plans, and share knowledge and information
    • Assist with investor requests
    • Prepare capital call and distribution notices, including uploading notices to the investor portal (Juniper Square)
    • Collaborate with other teams to ensure consistency and application of legal agreements including limited partner and operating agreements as they relate to business applications
    • Prepare and respond to adhoc data requests and reports, as needed
    • Perform all other duties, as required

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance or another related field or equivalent experience
    • At least 2 years of prior related professional experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills
    • Outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Organized and self-starter
    • Collaborative personality and open to feedback
    • Strong moral code and sense of ethics
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
    • Financial modeling experience, preferred
