    Independently perform preventative maintenance, calibration, cleaning and repair, and qualification tests of laboratory equipment

    Responsibilities:

    Qualify and maintain laboratory equipment

    Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment

    Clean, repair, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment

    Coordinate with service contractors on equipment repairs, installation, and maintenance

    Ensure laboratory equipment meets regulatory standards

    Track equipment repairs and routine maintenance schedules

    Train individuals on proper equipment usage

    Provide input on equipment planning and purchase

    Record tasks in accordance to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

    Follow applicable SOPs and procedural documents

    Review, update, or author SOPs as required

    Other tasks as assigned

    Education, Experience & Skills Required:

    • Associate Degree or higher with experience working on laboratory equipment; all experiences will be evaluated
    • Able to oversee and repair laboratory equipment
    • Able to work in a regulated environment
    • Able to work effectively and contribute within a team
    • Able to work with computer systems
    • Able to document clearly & lift 50 pounds
