Join Our Team as a Urology Physician Make a Difference in Patient Care
Are you a dedicated Urology specialist looking to contribute your expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment? We are seeking a motivated Provider to join our team on an urgent basis, providing exceptional urological care to patients in the Wausau area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team in a flexible, full-time setting with a focus on patient well-being and professional growth.
What You Will Do:
Deliver comprehensive urological care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Participate in system call duties, primarily based out of Wausau, with 7-10 days per month including one weekend.
Provide clinic coverage and perform 2-3 days of OR procedures, totaling approximately 36 hours per week with flexible days and times.
Potential outreach to Wisconsin Rapids 1-2 days per month.Start immediately pending credentialing, with a focus on coverage through April 2026 and some intermittent work afterward.
Required Skills:
Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid U.S. medical licensure in Urology.
Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent clinical and communication skills.
Ability to handle system call duties and perform outpatient and surgical procedures.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with outreach clinics or in rural healthcare settings.
Advanced procedural skills or subspecialty training within Urology.
Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution.
At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in Urology preferred but not mandatory for highly qualified candidates.
Other Requirements:
Must hold or be eligible for U.S. Medical Licensure.
Willingness to travel to Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids as required.
Certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or similar are advantageous.
Compensation for this role is offered at a highly competitive hourly rate of $1.00, complemented by excellent benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), generous referral bonuses, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel, and other relevant reimbursements.
