    Position Summary InformationMinimum Qualifications License/Certification Required Essential Job FunctionsThe position of Project Specialist is a temporary opportunity to work with the UPLIFT program, which is focused on rural tourism in North Carolina.

    The project specialist will work for a minimum of three months, remotely, with the option of extending. The position is anticipated to run no more than six months.
    The project specialist will lead and/or assist with 2 to 3 particular components of the UPLIFT program.

    Opportunities include grants database management, curating and creating educational videos on a particular aspect of rural tourism, monitoring media coverage of UPLIFT and the participating counties, assistance initiating a podcast series, and contributing to an online knowledge center which houses resources for North Carolina rural counties interested in tourism.

    It may also include supporting establishing systems to design and manage the above activities.
