    SUMMARY

    Working independently, the Regional Loss Prevention Leader minimizes the financial losses related to theft in GameStop's retail operation. The Regional Loss Prevention Leader works closely and consultatively with Human Resources and Store Operations leaders to manage proactive programs of deterrence that include regular audits, training, and incident investigations. The principal business outcome for this position is to improve profitability by developing and implementing loss prevention programs. Associates in this position may interact with a supervisor as needed by either. Most activities are completed without a supervisor's advance approval.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

    • Review loss prevention techniques and implement proactive policies and standards to positively affect inventory shrinkage.
    • Collaborate with multi-unit managers to identify potential issues affecting shrink.
    • Conduct investigative interviews by phone or in person as necessary.
    • Completing weekly/monthly status reports within GameStop's expected timeframe.
    • Conduct independent investigations or upon management request; produce related case reports detailing each investigation.
    • Develop and maintain functional relationships with other retail loss prevention professionals and local law enforcement.
    • Document complaints against suspects and provide testimony in court as a witness.
    • Conduct periodic audits on assigned stores and proactively establish action plans to correct deficiencies.
    • Perform additional tasks and project work as needed.

    BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

    • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in loss prevention, criminal justice, or related field from an accredited program preferred
    • At least 5 years of related loss prevention experience required — experience in a multi-unit retail environment preferred
    • Ability to travel unaccompanied up to 70% domestically, including overnight stays
    • Ability to move unassisted through stores for extended periods (up to 12 hours/day)
    • Ability to lift and/or move objects and displays (up to 30 lbs.), bend, stoop, reach with arms and hands, and climb on ladders
    • Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons and for special projects
    • Successful completion of Wicklander-Zulawski interrogation training preferred

    Full-time store positions at GameStop are also eligible to participate in incentive programs, health benefits, paid time off, 401 (k), employee discount and a casual work environment. Positions at GameStop may also be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentives.

    $85, $115,000.00
