Job summary

The Crime Victim Advocate will provide support and assistance to victims of crime. They will learn about trauma-informed approaches and integrate them into their work. Responsibilities include conducting home visits with officers and detectives, providing information and referrals for practical assistance,
  • Learn and integrate a trauma-informed approach into your work with clients
  • Attempt to reach by phone and mail victims who have filed reports with the precinct or PSA
  • Work with victims of crime who come to the precinct or PSA seeking assistance
