- An application of pulsed power knowledge, LANL policies and principles, and a thorough understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts related to pulsed power.
- A demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair problems on electro-mechanical systems of moderate complexity using standard diagnostic equipment, while referencing to OEM provided drawings, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and manuals. What You Need Minimum Job Requirements:
- Experience with mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or vacuum systems and processes.
- Experience working to a set of defined requirements and regulations.
- Experience and demonstrated skill in conducting research, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions on problems affecting systems and/or equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team under both general and/or specific instruction. Additional Job Requirements for Engineered Systems Tec 3:

- Demonstrated apprentice type skill in conducting research, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions on problems affecting systems and/or equipment.

- Proven experience working to a set of defined requirements and regulations. Education/Experience for Tec 2: Position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Education/Experience for Tec 3: Position require an Associate Degree in a related technical field and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the position. Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working on high voltage equipment.
- Experience working on pulsed power systems.
- Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong computer skills, including word-processing, spreadsheets, and data acquisition and plotting.
