    Description

    Mechanic for Manufacturing Company

    Are you a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with experience in Manufacturing/Packaging Machines? We are looking for a dependable professional to join our team at a small manufacturing company. Strong knowledge of machine setup, maintenance, and packaging lines is crucial for this role.

    Responsibilities:

    • Set up and maintain machinery in the manufacturing facility
    • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
    • Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns efficiently
    • Ensure optimal functioning of packaging lines
    • Collaborate with the production team to enhance efficiency
    • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area
    • Be open to working on Saturdays if necessary

    Requirements:

    • Proven track record as a mechanic in a manufacturing environment
    • Sound understanding of machine setup, maintenance, and repair
    • Familiarity with packaging lines and associated equipment
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Reliability and punctuality are a must
    • Flexibility to work Saturdays when needed

    Work hours are from 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.
