    Description
    The Women's Minister will work under the supervision and direction of the Women's Pastor. They must be able to work independently and carry a high degree of confidentiality.

    The Women's Minister must be capable of ministering to the female congregants as well as walk-ins with a high degree of discipleship and biblical knowledge.

    This role also performs all responsibilities generally associated with an experienced minister as well as administrative assistant, including, but not limited to, scheduling, meeting assistance, project management, correspondence assistance, information tracking, and reporting.

    Primary responsibilities will be assisting the Women's Pastor with ministering to female congregants, project managing Radiant meetings and events, as well as supporting group leaders with discipleship material and strategies for growth, assisting with leader trainings, tracking, and scheduling counseling sessions needed by the female members of EMIC/KCM/KCBC, et al., pre-screening requests from female members who request pastoral counseling from the Women's Pastor, and assisting the Women's Pastor during counseling sessions as needed.

    This position will be expected to uphold our Core Values while representing the Women's Pastor with professionalism, confidentially, sound judgment, and faith-filled prayer.


    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Minister to female congregants who email, write in, or call requesting prayerAssist the Women's Pastor with ministering to walk-ins Pre-screen requests from the female members who request pastoral counseling from the Women's Pastor Schedule and track follow-up calls and meetings needed by the female members of KCM/EMIC/KCBC/Victory Channel (et al) with the Women's Pastor using Ministry Platform Attend meetings and compile minutes, follow up memos confirming decisions, assignments, etc.

    to appropriate individualsPrepare a weekly report for the women's departmentEnsure attendance numbers for every women's/group meeting are entered in each software requiredReceive administrative direction from the Women's Pastor and help coordinate projects and information supporting the department, including the monthly Radiant meetings and annual eventsRecruit, build and train volunteer teams as it relates to supporting women's ministryAttend each women's ministry group a minimum of once a quarterSupport Women's Ministry group leaders with curriculum suggestions, discipleship, and strategies for growth through trainingsLiaison with KCM, et al, department managers to arrange short meetings between their female staff and the Women's Pastor and assist with those meetingsAssist the Mentor/Mentee group leaders with training new mentorsAble to handle conflicts between female staff and/or congregantsOther duties as assignedRequirementsEducation:
    High School Graduate at minimumMicrosoft Office preferredMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a ministerial role to women preferredMinimum 3-5 years secretarial and administrative office experience preferredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience: Have a strong biblical backgroundHave experience with Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, Ministry Platform, SmartSheets, and Microsoft OutlookMust be able to handle highly confidential informationType at or above 40 wpmStrong organizational, analytical and written and verbal communication skillsConfidentiality, discretion, and trustworthiness are required
