Overview

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is seeking an experienced QA Sr. Technician to join our Lincoln, NE organization as we expand rapidly.

We provide reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets, leveraging over 60 years of expertise in designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing composite missile and space structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform in-process inspections using standard and specialized equipment, including micrometers.
Determine accept/reject decisions and document Nonconformances accordingly.
Operate computer-controlled equipment and perform physical/mechanical tests utilizing standards and specifications.
Perform calculations to confirm compliance with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing schemes.
Interpret drawings and maintain inspection records as required by established procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

Compare defects against standards and recommend disposition.
Review parts for conformance to drawings and specifications.
Interface with internal/external customers and peers.
Operate a CMM measurement system using PC-DMIS, preferably with experience utilizing Brown and Sharp CMM.
Competent in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances).
