    Central Transport, LLC, is a leader in LTL (less-than-truckload) transportation for more than 90 years is currently seeking a Claims Manager at our Corporate Office in Warren, MI.

    We are in search of an experienced, computer savvy individual who is ready to take the next step in their career.

    This role is a critical position to managing the Claims department which analyzes various types of freight, handling missing and oversized shipments, and customer perception of our organization.

    Please note that this is an IN-PERSON role, located at our company headquarters in Warren, MI.As a Claims Manager, you must have leadership experience and be able to work on site each day (Monday Friday).

    Our managers have superior computer and people skills and are able to handle a variety of scenarios with the ability to think on their feet.

    Job Responsibilities:
    Manage claims email queue and distribution of cargo claims workloadReview and approve all claims > $100Resolve escalated claim disputes and aging claimsRepresent CT in all cargo claim legal disputesAddress errors causing cargo claims and initiate corrective actionAnalyze claims data, identify high volume claim customers/areas, and initiate corrective actionThe ideal candidate will possess the following:3 or more years of LTL Operations experienceAssertive personalityKnowledge of NMFC and TariffsStrong leadership qualitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProblem solving abilityBenefits:Medical/dental/vision insurance401(k)Paid vacationLife InsuranceCollaborative environmentOpportunity for advancement#J-18808-Ljbffr
