    Job Title: Tax Intern

    We are seeking interns for our tax department at a Public Accounting Firm located in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and taxation.

    About the Role

    This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic public accounting firm. You will work with a wide variety of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, owner-operated companies, middle-market companies, and publicly traded companies.

    Responsibilities

    • Preparing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, including Partnerships, C-corporations, and S-corporations
    • Tax research and analysis
    • Organizing work papers and documents
    • Income tax projections and planning

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Business (Accounting or Taxation)
    • Completed intermediate accounting and currently enrolled in a tax class
    • GPA of 3.4 or higher
    • Ability to commit to 20 hours per week during the internship
    • Excellent communication, time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills
