    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our long-term care team in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment where you will contribute to the health and well-being of patients in a long-term care setting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
    • Assist in managing inventory, including ordering and receiving drug supplies, verifying quantities, and removing outdated products.
    • Process prescriptions using computer software and ensure accurate billing of items to patient accounts and insurances.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and healthcare providers, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with regulatory policies and procedures.
    • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pharmaceutical care in a long-term care setting.

    Shift:

    • 8 hour varied shifts, rotating between pharmacy operating hours:
    • Monday - Friday:7:30am - 10:30pm
    • Saturday:8:00am to 6:00pm
    • Sunday: 9:00am to 5:00pm.
    • Weekend rotation is every 3rd or 4th weekend.

    Qualifications:

    • LTC experience preferred.
    • Pharmacy technician experience.
