The Asset Services Processing team will be responsible for the following:
Processing Income and corporate action events for House/Prime brokerage clients Reconciliation of Cash breaks control accounts tax accounts and fee accounts Investigation and Resolution of client queries on a timely basis Daily Processing of equity dividend events in an accurate timely and consistent manner in accordance with departmental procedures to the agreed service levels Resolution of any processing issues and liaison with other areas of Bank of America Merrill Lynch including Settlements Trading Desk Support Client Service Representatives Finance & Middle Office Technology Product Data Support Client On boarding Services and global Asset Services Departments The job involves a high degree of daily communication interaction with internal counter-parties external custodians/agent banks and external clients Daily reconciliation reconciliation resolution reconciling items Maintenance customer service levels through speedy resolution queries raised by Prime Brokerage clients Daily allocation client money Compliance relevant Regulatory BofAML Control Standards policy requirements Identify changes processes procedures improve control efficiency reduce risk improve client services Participation user acceptance testing programs business projects Act first point escalation Client Service Representatives onshore management offshore management Team Process Performance data Review common workbasket workflow management Timely resolutions Queries clarifications Managing Team K performance stats Review Errors identify process training issues address accordingly review Reports Metrics spreadsheet identify gaps address accordingly Review Escalations Expedites due diligence associates Process Escalations according documented process follow closure Attendance daily Escalation meeting follow-up associates thereafter Manage associates timely closing Request Train associates process procedures ongoing support Work process procedure gaps LOB closure Conduct routine team meetings Assist hiring performance review associates Responsibilities Strong work management skills experience SME Excellent Knowledge financial capital markets equity Working Knowledge General Accounting journal entries debitscredits color entries treatment books etc Demonstrates sense urgency meeting Service Level Agreements earns business partner loyalty accuracy courtesy Fair Analytical skills eye detail Demonstrated ability quickly learn new processes tools incorporate work environment Must excellent customer service skills Proficient English language speaking writing comprehension Time organizational management Demonstrates good judgment determine manage business expedites escalations Ability clearly articulate communicate issues internal external Ability multitask effectively Proficient MS Office Knowledge Sigma quality toolsJob description
