    Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

    Location:
    Santa Monica, California

    Job Type:
    Full-Time, 12-hour shifts


    Experience:
    Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience in an acute care hospital


    Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience in an acute care hospital and be able to provide compassionate and competent care to patients in a fast-paced environment.


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
    • Assess and triage patients according to acuity level
    • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide quality patient care
    • Document patient care in electronic medical records
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians

    Qualifications:

    • Active California RN license
    • Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience in an acute care hospital
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required (upon hire)
    • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate (upon hire)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple priorities
    • Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills
