Business Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team at the Augustine Institute. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving organizational efficiency.

This role involves analyzing data, developing business models, and providing strategic recommendations to support the Institute's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the subject matter expert for various software platforms and tools used by the organization.
Collaborate with various departments to understand their systems, processes, and requirements.
Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS), overseeing content migration, quality assurance, and updates to ensure an engaging learner experience and alignment with business goals.
Lead and/or support the evaluation and implementation of feature requests for software platforms.
Assist in the selection of new software by collaborating with various departments to understand their requirements, evaluating options, making recommendations, and receiving approval from stakeholders.
Assist in the implementation of new software by setting them up according to specifications, training users, and sunsetting old tools.
Monitor, maintain, and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions to ensure they meet objectives.
Assist in project management tasks including documentation, timelines, and deliverables.
Gather and analyze data to understand business needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop business models and forecasts and analyze trends to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience in the education or non-profit sector is a plus.
Familiarity with the Catholic faith and its teachings is preferred.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, typing and use of office equipment, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
