As a Snap Engineering team member, you'll help us build the future of communication.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Marketplace Design team at Snap Inc This team is responsible for designing Snap's ad auctions systems, managing and optimizing ad load and insertion logics as well as balancing revenue and user experience via user engagement modeling.

Build and coach a team of exceptional software engineers and machine learning engineers.

Closely work with Product Managers, Data scientists and XFN stakeholders to develop marketplace strategies balancing long and short term business objectives.

Proficient in making data-driven decisions in complex technical problems.
7+ years of experience in software development.
You have 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent years of experience
Direct experience in auction & pricing, ad networks, demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), real-time bidding, budget pacing.
Experience with applying machine learning solutions.
