- Audit experience
- Provide strategic leadership, develop, and execute short- and long-term objectives.
- Lead the financial operations and controls of subsidiary companies.
- Integrate financial planning with organizations strategic direction.
- Administer banking activities and relationships.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, financial packages, and other informational reports/analysis. Review financial results and discuss changes to address needs and trends.
- Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines.
- Establish and reinforce a system of effective accounting and operational controls and conduct internal audits.
- Ensure underlying accounting records are accurate, complete in accordance with USGAAP and record keeping complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure effective cash flow management.
- Support the acquisitions team during due diligence and negotiations of acquisition and disposition.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Joint venture accounting experience
- CPA certification is preferred . Five to ten years of previous commercial real estate, property management, and/or related industry experience.
- Knowledge of all financial legislation.
