- Responsible for preparing monthly journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly closing process
- Perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization
- Prepare various reports for monthly financial preliminary projections
- Perform inventory analysis on growth, trending and material purchases
- Conduct monthly cycle counts and/or physical inventory
- Responsible for weekly consignment inventory reconciliation
- Analyze information by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
- Backup for AP/AR & payroll
- Assist Controller as needed on various financial projects
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience.
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience working with ERP accounting system; Made2Manage software, a plus
- Advanced in excel
- Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
- Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
