    Betts Company is actively recruiting a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. This position offers a consistently excellent work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule from 6 am to 2:30 pm.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Complete tasks related to the electrical components of the company's machinery and equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and install PLCs and VFDs in accordance with project specifications.
    • Program PLCs and VFDs to optimize system performance and functionality.
    • Diagnose and resolve issues with servo drives and servo motors, ensuring minimal downtime.
    • Inspect and test machinery and equipment using diagnostic tools, ensuring consistent diagnostic procedures across various machinery types.
    • Analyze test results for irregularities and document findings in a maintenance log, ensuring adherence to documentation procedures.
    • Diagnose the root cause of electrical malfunctions and execute repairs promptly and efficiently.
    • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance plan to prevent electrical malfunctions, including establishing standard maintenance procedures and logbooks for each piece of equipment.
    • Install and repair cables and wiring with precision and expertise, utilizing power hand tools and demonstrating extreme attention to detail.
    Requirements:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
    • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery, conveyors, motors, and production equipment.
    • Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and industrial automation systems.
    • Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
    • Competency in using hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
    • Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and report maintenance issues.
    • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Commitment to workplace safety protocols and adherence to regulatory standards.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, and work in confined spaces.
    • Capability to stand, bend, stoop, and climb for extended periods.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
