The Manager, Sales Development is responsible for the team's pipeline success and team culture. You will play a key role as you lead and motivate an SDR team that achieves individual, team, and organizational targets. As such, this leader should be experienced in partnering effectively with cross-functional leaders across the GTM organization, from Sales and Marketing to Operations and Enablement.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of experience managing Inbound SDR teams in a B2B environment
• Strong understanding of Inbound sales processes, prospecting techniques, and conversion strategies
• Be the expert at the company on how to build and iterate on the inbound machine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and strategy
• Familiarity with sales technologies and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Gong)
• Ability to create and adapt inbound sequences and scripts by persona and industry

What you can expect:

• Team Leadership:
• Guide and coach Inbound SDRs to perform timely follow up on all MQLs and inbound inquiries to qualify prospects and drive pipeline for the sales team
• Lead and inspire a team of outbound SDRs to achieve and exceed set targets for qualified lead generation
• Conduct weekly coaching sessions, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement within the team
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that promotes motivation, innovation, and accountability

Process Optimization:

• Continuously assess and refine inbound processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
• Implement best practices in outreach, follow-up, and qualification to ensure a streamlined and scalable operation
• Utilize technology and tools to enhance SDR productivity and results

Training and Development:

• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for SDRs, focusing on prospecting skills, objection handling, and product knowledge
• Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into training programs

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on lead generation goals
• Foster open communication channels between SDRs and other departments to share insights and improve overall business processes

USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $89,000 USD and $121,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $88,000 CAD and $118,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

We believe in the power of remote work, but we also recognize that some in-person connection with team members and customers is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across Canada and the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
