    Manager of Strategy - Oregon, United States - Naviga

    Description
    Our client, established in 1972, set new standards for beverage container collection through reverse vending machines (RVMs), and they're currently leading in technology solutions for the circular economy. They focus on optimizing resource recovery and reducing waste in various sectors including food, recycling, and mining.





    Title: Business Development Manager
    Location: Remote, US - Northeast preferred

    Responsibilities:
    • Gain a deep understanding of the clean loop cycle, from consumption to container processing, commodity marketing, and meeting bottle producer demand for new containers
    • Enhance collection and processing partnerships in the clean loop
    • Stay updated on developments and modernization timelines with Public Affairs and TC Strategy team
    • Oversee business development initiatives across the AMS region
    • Evaluate BD opportunities for strategic alignment following directives from the AMS Senior Leadership team
    • Manage and prioritize a portfolio of opportunities, tracking updates that may impact project timelines
    • Implement tracking and project management with AMS and Norway teams
    • Ensure project team members adhere to timelines and deadlines
    • Maintain compliance with the company's SAFE Standards, Guidelines, and relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
    • Perform any other duties as assigned

    Requirements:
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in business development and/or management consulting
    • 5 years of demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional project teams
    • Proven track record in financial P&L modeling, cash flow analysis, and valuation methods
    • Resourceful team player with strong initiative and ability to work independently
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to engage with stakeholders and create compelling proposals
    • Solid analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and related technologies
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
    • Valid driver's license and passport
    • Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned regions and spend some time at the HQ office in Shelton, CT

    Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
    • Master's degree in business administration with a finance focus preferred
