Our clinic provides Full-serviceAudiology : Hearing Aid Fitting andDispensing with Real-Ear; Extensive Diagnostic Audiology , including Infant/Pediatric Evaluations, VNG, VEMP, AEP, OAE, ECochG.
Requirements : Audiologist or Audiology Extern desiring in-depth experience in both diagnostic and hearing aid fitting.

Applicant must desire a position in a thriving, well-established, private audiology practice in Central Virginia. Lynchburg is a family-oriented community with a population of approximately 200,000 in the city and surrounding county, in sight of the Blue Ridge Mountains; only a short driving distance to hiking, snow skiing, boating/fishing, historical sites, the coast, and much more. (21⁄4 hours to Greensboro, NC and to Raleigh/Durham, NC; 45 min. to Roanoke, VA; 21⁄2 hours to Richmond, VA; and 3 hours to Washington, DC)

We desire any potential applicant to call and ask for Linda, Office manager for a phone interview and discussion of our Externship: Based on the phone conversation, the student will be asked to provide some of the above information. Appropriate candidates will be invited for an in-office entire-day interview and shadowing of our audiologists during work hours. Steps for the student/university to follow in the application process: 1. Phone conversations with faculty after we have done phone 1. 1. Phone interview with student followed by in-office interview and shadowing; prior to final consideration.
