    Turning Point is a financial advisory firm serving mid-market companies in the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in harnessing financial data for CFO consulting, scale and restructuring services, debt and capital advisory, and improved operations and profitability.     Job Summary:

    The right candidate will be joining a strong team of Financial Analysts who will work alongside a team of Controllers. This position will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and projection for companies and corporations. They will forecast future revenues and expenditures to establish cost structures and determine capital budgeting for projects. The candidate we are looking for must be dynamic, fast learning, and willing to jump into any task to support the company to continue to be an industry leader. The ideal candidate will be based out of Seattle, WA.

    Job Duties

    • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
    • Perform detailed cash flow forecasting and analysis
    • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
    • Report on financial performance and prepare for client reviews
    • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
    • Work closely with the Turning Point team to ensure accurate financial reporting
    • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
    • Perform detailed cost analysis
    • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
    • Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and market analysis
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects)

    Qualifications and Skills

    • B.S./B.A. in Accounting, Finance or Equivalent
    • 4+ years of financial and business analytics experience
    • Solid understanding of financial statements
    • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
    • Mastery level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
