Role overview:
The Process Engineering Specialist ensures efficient production by implementing process improvements, maintaining machinery, and adhering to safety and quality standards, utilizing skills in PLC programming, reporting, and 3D printing.

Responsibilities:
Adhere to all company policies and procedures which include IATF, ISO, ISMS, and Safety related policies
Function as an emergency First Responder per WVSM
Ability to read and program PLC based controls
Ability to implement assigned Kaizens (continuous improvements), machine modifications, or cost saving projects as found or assigned
Ability to use Microsoft Office to provide detailed reporting of cost savings, efficiency gains, etc., on completed projects
Provide primary maintenance support to production lines when needed
Perform appropriate level of maintenance on machinery/fabrication and verify results
Use a computerized maintenance management system to work on assigned work orders
Effective management of labor costs and productivity
Prompt and accurate communication to appropriate personnel as required
Assist in incoming spare parts inspection for verification of usability and dimensional accuracy
Assist in maintaining the 3D printers and the printing process as needed
Assist in maintaining/reworking of spare parts
Provide preventive and predictive maintenance support
Perform all work in accordance with quality, environmental and regulatory procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Vocational/Technical certification preferred.
PLC training required; Basic knowledge of electrical repair is required;
Basic computer skills required;
MS Office experience required;
