GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for assembling and installing custom molding presses to meet production requirements. Ensures presses are built to specification and all systems are functioning properly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential functions are those tasks, duties, and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job's purpose and objectives. • Assemble, Install and maintain molding presses and their components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Assist in development of new press designs.
• Partners with leadership to streamline the assembly process to increase capacity.
• Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure efficient operation of molding presses.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Tracks objectives and documents milestone completion to assist management with scheduling and planning.

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical or vocational training in mechanics, engineering, robotics, or related field preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 1-5 years in mechanical assembly, maintenance or related field
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical or robotic systems preferred

• Work may involve exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
