    Description

    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    We are seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join our team at our Distribution Centre in Middletown.

    As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately and quickly servicing our fast-paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry.

    The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and skills in First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles, RF scanning equipment, and be able to meet any challenge that comes their way.

    • Operate forklift equipment safely and effectively, maintaining equipment and reporting malfunctions as needed.
    • Perform duties within established RF processes.
    • Pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound freight to ensure warehouse goals are met.
    • Implement work in the prescribed sequence to meet delivery deadlines.
    • Meet productivity, quality, and safety targets.
    • Loading and unloading trucks.
    • Maintaining strict housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols.
    • Reporting unsafe work conditions or environments in a timely manner.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma completion.
    • Safe operation of reach forklift experience is an asset.
    • Ability to meet daily timelines and adapt to changing priorities.
    • RF technology experience is an asset.
    • Proficiency in reading and writing English.
    • Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.

    Estimated Salary: $24.02 per hour
