Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. This is a driving post, using a valid driver's license to move between checkpoints and respond to calls for assistance. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, lab, and common areas, as well as parking and perimeter routes, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges as directed, and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public emergency services when required.
Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations and follow-up needs to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security experience is required.
A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
