    The Neuro Radiographer position focuses on supporting the technological requirements of complex Neurosurgery and Neurologic procedures in various medical settings. This role involves working closely with advanced imaging and navigation systems to assist surgeons in intricate head and spine surgeries, as well as Vascular and Neurologic diagnostic procedures. The Technologist plays a crucial role in ensuring equipment readiness, managing schedules, and contributing to the success of surgical and diagnostic procedures.
    Responsibilities
    • Operate radiology equipment to produce high-quality images
    • Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment
    • Interact with patients to ensure their comfort and well-being during procedures
    • Assist medical team in completing procedures
    • Conduct quality assurance testing
    • Stay updated on new technologies and procedures
    • Support neurosurgery and ENT operating room cases
    • Perform registration routines and post-processing for procedures
    • Assist surgeons with technical issues

    Experience Requirements


    Seeking candidates with over 1 year of Neuro Radiographer experience.
    0-2 years of experience preferred
    Experience in Neurovascular Interventions

    Education Requirements


    High School/GED and an Associates degree. Completion of an AMA-approved program for Diagnostic Radiology

    License/Certification Requirements


    BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Registry Radiology Tech license, NJ Radiology Tech License
    Skills/Qualifications:
    • Proficiency in various imaging and navigation systems
    • Effective communication skills

    Special Requirements


    PRN position with varying hours
