    What You'll Do:

    • Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for elementary students.
    • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to address a variety of communication disorders (articulation, language, fluency, voice).
    • Collaborate with teachers, general education staff, and parents to promote communication development across environments.
    • Monitor student progress, analyze data, and document outcomes to measure effectiveness.
    • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to reach their full potential.

    Qualifications:

    • Must possess a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from ASHA.
    • Must hold a current Maryland State SLP License.
    • Prior experience working with children in a school setting, particularly elementary grades (K-4), is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of child development, speech and language disorders, and various treatment approaches.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage a caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
    • Positive and enthusiastic demeanor with a commitment to student success.
