- Promote AWG safety culture within the division following company safety guidelines.
- Assist locations in training managers, supervisors, and personnel on company procedures.
- Assist locations with compliance regarding company and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct employee job observations, facility hazard reviews, and facility compliance reviews.
- Evaluate and coach commercial drivers by performing driver ride along.
- Develop and lead risk mitigation plans.
- Lead incident/accident investigations.
- Monitor and track return to work status of work related injuries.
- Develop and implement preventative and corrective action plans.
- Support the Safety and Regulatory Compliance Team.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned within the physical constraints of the job.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- Knowledge of industry regulations including OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA, ISO, etc.
- Prior experience implementing behavior safety programs
- Industrial/Medical/Specialty/Bulk gases experience preferred
- Proven ability to work effectively under deadlines with little supervision
- Strong interpersonal and organizational and skills
- Effective verbal communication and team building skills
- Conflict resolution
- Ability to influence others
- Goal oriented and self‐motivated
- Computer skills
