    An aerospace client is looking for a Test Engineer who will design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.

    Location: Oxnard, CA 93030

    Position: Test Engineer

    Pay Rate: $40.81/hr. on W2

    Duration: 6 months or longer

    Schedule: 9x80

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
    • Plan and arrange the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
    • Provide test area with parameters for sample testing and specify tests to be performed.
    • Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
    • Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
    • Leadership of product testing, working in close collaboration with all parts of the Operating Unit for the test planning, coordinating, setup, execution, data reduction, test reporting, and post-data processing.
    • Leadership in integration of products to test tooling, software, equipment, and instrumentation.
    • Leadership in test data collection, post-test data review, reporting, and support test requirements verification.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • U.S. Citizenship required.
    • Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or STEM related Field
    • 2-4 years of Test Engineering is preferred.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in test automation software (i.e., LabVIEW or other) for product testing preferred.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in measuring and controlling various electronic components such as motors, actuators, positional sensing devices, load transducers, etc. is preferred.
    • Experience in aerospace or aeronautical industry is preferred.
    • Working knowledge of applicable manufacturing processes such as machining, finishing, and rapid prototyping is preferred.
