    Job Title: Construction Manager

    Location: Atlanta, GA

    The company

    An established construction management firm is looking to recruit a Construction Manager to work on a $50m data center fit out project south of Atlanta. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, reputable team.

    The position

    The Construction Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

    Schedule:

    • construction managers (CM) monthly forecast.
    • weekly CPM schedule review meetings
    • multiple CM/subcontractor detailed planning meetings
    • Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment schedule management
    • start up scheduling
    • schedule coordination
    • vendor schedule management (IT, Roofing Consultant, Geotech, Third Party Inspectors)
    • Fitout schedule management
    • Fitout Phase turn over alignment (base build & Tenant)

    Cost:

    • buyout review and support
    • buyout detailed analysis and ownership of recommendations
    • VE recommendations with analysis
    • order review and approval (cost approval and process flow)
    • cost avoidance/reduction ideas
    • pay application review

    Field:

    • general oversight
    • daily review and inspection with CM
    • general oversight
    • daily review & inspection with CM
    • coordination (MOPs, Notifications)
    • weekly progress and provide accurate reporting
    • OFCI equipment inspection/receiving process

    Project Management:

    • cost documents (pay apps, change orders, etc.)
    • and attend weekly OAC meetings and minutes
    • weekly project reporting
    • project closeout process (financial, O&Ms, punchlist, Ops, etc.)

    Design:

    • initial design, manage design coordination efforts
    • customer fit out design package integration (non base-build)
    • design cost and process changes
    • of construction administration process

    Permit/AHJ:

    • and communicate overall permit process
    • inspection and certificate of occupancy process management.

    Could this role be for you?

    • motivated
    • Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
    • years of experience working in either design or construction of projects. Experience in Labs, Semiconductor, Data Center, and/or Critical Facility Construction is necessary.
