    Primary Responsibilities

    • Following the guidance of cyber security management, execute tasks in support of NIDS/NIPS, vulnerability scanning, vulnerability patching, antivirus application, whitelisting applications, applying security controls, penetration testing, and security certificate management.
    • Assist with cyber incident response.
    • Provide technician support for the implementation and sustainment of a sound defense in depth plan.
    • Use appropriate tools and methodologies inspect the Company's IT infrastructure for program compliance and/or new vulnerabilities.
    • Identify, manage, and communicate deviations to department management.
    • Use intuition and instincts to predict and pre empt possible vectors of attack.
    • Implement cyber security standards, conduct IT project risk assessments, provide PCI and HIPPA guidance, and coordinate third party risk assessments.
    • Remain informed on trends and issues in the cyber security industry, including current and emerging technologies.
    • Upon the mitigation of a cyber security incident, participate in post mortems which discover and document root cause analysis, specific chain of events, scope of the breach, and mitigation steps with emphasis on identifying effective and ineffective elements of our security program.
    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or related field is required, along with at least 2 years of experience.
    • Cyber Security certifications (CISSP, SSCP, etc.)
    are preferred.

    • Network Experience with a focus on Cisco FMC or a like technology preferred.
    • Cisco CCNA preferred.
    • Excellent communication, deductive reasoning and analytical trouble shooting skills are strongly preferred.
    • Salary/Level will commensurate with experience.
